Real Writing Jobs Review - My Personal Experience
Seeking out directories for work from home jobs has been the bane of my life this past 10 years. I remember when I first found out about working from home and its many possibilities. I had to suffer, like most, and by that I mean...
Get Rich Quick schemes...
Oh yes, that’s all I found and I lost quite a lot of money just trying out types of biz opps in the late 90s such as selling mobile phones, fake oil paintings (oh dear…yes, I thought it was genuine) , stuffing envelopes and selling cheap computer parts.
To a large extent, much of my experience was actioned from a naïve standpoint in that I thought that very little work would attract wealth to my life. I was led to believe that a few hours work would produce a six figure pay check in a few months.
I knew that there must be genuine jobs that allow people to work from home and it was simply a case of finding them. I stumbled on these jobs back in 2004, and to be honest after reading so many bad reviews on work from home directories, i took a rain check..
Later, more to the point, a few years later in 2007, i came across some enlightening reviews from people whom stated that they had found a permanent work from home job using various homejob directories like Homejobstop. But i found HomeJobStop to be quite thin compared to the updated lists on Real Writing Jobs.
OK....I pondered, remembering my skeptiscm back in 2004.
Knowing that unless i tried, nothing ventured and all that, i would never know. So i covered my eyes and hit the link to buy the lifetime membership.... you know the feeling.
It was the best move I had made in my search for work from home jobs that were not scams or employers not willing to pay. Within a few days, i had found freelance writing jobs very easily and one of the employers still receives work from me today.
During previous years, back in the 90s and as we crept into the 21st century, I was stifled by life’s choices for a while and found myself in mediocrity. I learnt that focus was important. Or you simply take a path does not interest you. Avoid terrible jobs that don’t conform to your interests by ensuring that you focus on the industry that captures your talents.
Work from home jobs are no different, they are in great abundance and you should ask yourself:
What are my interests?
Do I need to train for these interests to become a skill?
Do my interests target an industry that I will enjoy?
So, where are the jobs...?
Before looking for a job, where do you want to start? what type of writing suits you? Some top choices as they can pay high fees are:
technical writing jobs
article writing jobs
medical writing jobs
You can find lots of free writing jobs on Google, use terms like "write for us" and you will find sites that offer a fee per article. If you want to try magazines, and have other bigger ambitions such as writing movie scripts, pick up The Writers and Artists Yearbook as it contains lots of publishers.
Real writing jobs exist as so many companies need content for their blogs and literature. Its often more cost effective to outsource so you will find jobs like copywriter, content writer, article writer and many more. Ghost writing is very lucrative.

field and Real Writing Jobs will help you to target ones that capture your

I also recommend Freelance Writing Jobs (take a look at my hub http://hubpages.com/hub/stayathomejobs for more details on using conventional web methods to find them)

Project management
My review is written so as to appraise the site though please before choosing jobs from the Real Writing Jobs lists, knuckle down to establishing what you
want to do rather than deciding to work from home purely to escape your
employer. Working from home demands a more rigorous set of skills and
much more motivation. You won’t have employers breathing down your neck
but if you slack in any way by delivering bad quality, you will be
fired just like in any 9 to 5 job.
Another possibility –
perhaps you like your job but need to work from home. Perhaps your
current employer would consider a proposal from you detailing how you
can be just as efficient working from home. Ask your Human Resources
department on work from home programs. If none are operating, approach
your boss – don’t be afraid to ask, explain it’s not the end of the
world if it’s a NO but that you may need to resign (you must be direct
if a WAH job is that important to you).
Be clear on your objectives here.
Working
from home can be very pleasing, just ensure its suits you before you
embark on the journey. Your home needs to have a quiet environment
somewhere so that you can work in peace. This is essential for phone
work jobs. Most companies will test you and your environment for any
signs of distractions, etc.
It can also be very lonely. Do you prefer to be around your work colleagues? It can be a very insular life.
Think, and then plan, then action the plan.
